Salar Aghili,<\/strong> whose full name is Mirsalar Moslemi Aghili, was born on December 2, 1977, in Tehran. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in music, beginning to play various instruments at the age of eight. Encouraged by his brother and mother, he pursued his passion for music, while his father, a lawyer, emphasized the importance of education. Salar continued his studies at Sooreh Music Conservatory and later earned a bachelor’s degree in theater acting. He studied vocal techniques under the guidance of Master Sedigh Tarif for over five years, gradually becoming a prominent figure in traditional Iranian music.<\/p>\n

Aghili’s professional career began in 1996 with his performance at the Fajr Music Festival, where his rendition at the age of 18 garnered significant attention. Following this performance, he was invited to collaborate with the National Orchestra of Iran under the direction of Farhad Fakhreddini. At the same festival, he met Harir Shariat-Zadeh, a pianist and daf player, leading to their marriage in 2000. They have a son named Mahour.<\/p>\n

Throughout his career, Salar Aghili has collaborated with various groups and orchestras, including the National Orchestra of Iran, Isfahan Symphony Orchestra, Dastan Ensemble, and the Raz o Niaz group. He also performed the anthem “Iran-e Javan” with the Melal Orchestra. In addition to performing and recording music, Aghili teaches at music schools and conservatories and manages the “Raz o Niaz” music academy.<\/p>\n

In 2016, Salar Aghili became the first Iranian singer to insure his vocal cords. This initiative was undertaken during a ceremony marking the 81st anniversary of Iran Insurance Company, highlighting the significance and value of his voice in Iranian music.<\/p>\n

With his warm voice and technical prowess, Salar Aghili holds a special place in traditional Iranian music. Through diverse performances and collaborations with esteemed artists, he has played a vital role in preserving and promoting Iranian musical heritage.<\/p>\n
