Majid Kharatha<\/strong>, an Iranian pop singer, songwriter, and composer, was born on September 29, 1985, in Tehran. He grew up in an artistic family with three brothers and one sister. From childhood, he was interested in arts such as painting, storytelling, and calligraphy, and during adolescence, he self-taught music. He has received over 4,500 hours of music training and holds an equivalent of a doctorate in music. He is proficient in playing instruments like guitar, piano, setar, tar, daf, and tonbak.<\/p>\n

Kharatha’s professional career began in 2005 with the release of the unofficial album “Tanha Tarin Tanha” (The Loneliest Lonely). He subsequently released albums like “Zakhm-e Zaboon” (Tongue Wound), “Veda” (Farewell), and “Avareh” (Wanderer). In 2012, he released his first official album “Dige Miram” (I’m Leaving) with permission from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. In 2015, he released the album “Daram Miram” (I’m Going) with themes related to fighting cancer. He has also held numerous concerts in various cities across Iran.<\/p>\n

Kharatha’s musical style is a blend of emotional pop with romantic and social themes. He is known as the “Sultan of Emotion” due to his melancholic and heartfelt songs. He states, “I am not afraid of sorrow; sorrow is a part of me, and I don’t like to sing street-style songs.” Some of his notable works include “Delam Monde Roo Dastam” (My Heart Remained in My Hands), “Dardet Be Joonam” (Your Pain to My Soul), “Atre Talkh” (Bitter Perfume), and “Halghe” (Ring).<\/p>\n

In December 2018, Kharatha was hospitalized due to a rare condition called optic neuritis, which led to a significant loss of vision. Doctors advised him to avoid exposure to radio waves and interference. He kept his fans informed about his health status through posts on social media.<\/p>\n
