Kamyar Ahmadzadeh, known as Kamyar<\/strong> (born on December 7, 1357) is an Iranian singer. In 1359, when he was 2 years old, Kamyar immigrated to France and Paris with his family and grew up there. There, he went to the music academy for 8 years and played the piano as his main instrument. During this time, Kamyar focused on mixing traditional Middle Eastern music and Arandbi. Before turning professional in music, Camillar attended the new Sorbonne University in Paris to study English.<\/p>\n

At the age of 18, Kamyar discovered his passion for singing in the styles of Arandbi, Soul and Funk influenced by Stevie Wonder. But the road to realizing his dream and becoming a professional musician was not easy and like many of his early performances in the streets and subway stations, he started with his best friend and partner Hakim Rachek.<\/p>\n

In 2002, Kamyar left Paris and went to Los Angeles to pursue his musical career in the Persian music industry and achieved success as the new singer of the popular Persian group Black Cats. With this group, he released the Black Cat Scream album. He reached the peak of fame with the Black Cats with the song “Jun Mote”. He worked in the Black Cats group for 3 years and left this group after 3 years.<\/p>\n

After leaving the Black Cats, to date, he has toured in the UK, Canada, Europe, Asia, and the US.<\/p>\n

In November 2008, Kamyar performed the American national anthem in an NBA basketball game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

By mixing Arandbi’s style with Middle Eastern methods and scales, Kamyar was able to break into the international music industry and sing with some of its biggest legends, such as Stevie Wonder.<\/p>\n

Kamyar ‘s first album titled “Dobareh” was released worldwide in November 2009 and received critical acclaim for bringing an international voice to the Persian music industry and breaking traditional barriers typical of Persian pop. All the songs in this album were produced and arranged by Kamyar and Rahim Rachak, except “Ey Jan” which was arranged by Payam Shams.<\/p>\n

In the first season of the best voice competition, he played the role of judge and coach.<\/p>\n
