composer, and orchestra conductor, was born on May 27, 1954, in Rasht. He began his musical training at the age of five and joined the Music Conservatory at ten. He continued his musical studies in Vienna and went on to conduct prestigious orchestras worldwide. In the summer of 2016, Rohani was appointed as the conductor of the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, a position he held until June 2020. His artistic family includes renowned brothers, such as Anoushiravan Rohani.<\/p>\n<p>Rohani gained international fame for arranging and conducting Yanni&#8217;s concert at the Parthenon in Athens, which became one of the most-watched television programs in the U.S. He has conducted renowned orchestras, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in London, and composed music for major events, such as the 1998 Asian Games in Thailand. In the realm of film music, he has created memorable works, including the soundtrack for the movie <em>Salam Cinema<\/em> and the instrumental album <em>Dance of Spring<\/em>, featuring standout tracks like &#8220;Dance of Spring&#8221; and &#8220;Dance of Azra.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Another notable achievement is his role as the conductor of the Vancouver Opera Orchestra for the 2018 concert &#8220;Hameh Iranam&#8221; (&#8220;All My Iran&#8221;), where works by prominent Iranian composers were performed for an audience of 2,700.
