Born in November 1971 in Tehran, Iran, Namito<\/strong> was raised in a peaceful middle-class family in the northern part of the city. After experiencing the turmoil of a bloody revolution and a devastating war in Iran, his parents chose to send him to West Germany in search of a brighter future.<\/p>\n

In West Berlin, Namito attended school, quickly mastering the German language and adapting to his new surroundings. His passion for DJing was so profound that he left school to pursue a career in music, starting in 1989\u2014a career that has now spanned over three decades.<\/p>\n

Namito\u2019s journey began as a DJ in Berlin\u2019s vibrant local techno scene and soon expanded internationally. His career skyrocketed when he started releasing his music through prestigious global labels such as Kling Klong<\/strong>, Systematic Recordings<\/strong>, Kompakt<\/strong>, Yoshitoshi<\/strong>, Selador<\/strong>, and Sol Selectas<\/strong>, among others. With residencies at iconic Berlin clubs like Tresor<\/strong> and Sternradio<\/strong>, Namito went on to perform on stages across all continents.<\/p>\n

In recent years, Namito has collaborated with numerous artists, including Marc Romboy (Innervisions, Kompakt, Bedrock). He has performed live with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra and worked alongside the legendary Grandmaster Flash, contributing to the soundtrack of the Netflix series The Get Down<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Namito\u2019s 2019 release, Stone Flower<\/strong>, became a global sensation, earning the title of the best-selling Electronica track of the year on Beatport<\/strong>, the world\u2019s leading platform for electronic music.<\/p>\n

Namito\u2019s creativity extends beyond music production and DJing. From August to November 2018, he showcased his talents as a painter in his first art exhibition at the renowned nhow Hotel gallery in Berlin.<\/p>\n
