Jahanbakhsh<\/strong>, born on March 21, 1983, in Bochum, Germany, is an Iranian pop singer and composer. He began learning to play the piano at the age of five under the supervision of a German instructor at a music school in Bochum. After his family moved back to Iran, he developed a stronger interest in Eastern music. Encouraged by veteran composer Mojtaba Mirzadeh, he pursued professional training and, at the age of 14, received official approval from the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) to record his first song.<\/p>\n<p>Jahanbakhsh gained recognition in Iran\u2019s pop music scene after releasing his debut album <em>Chi Shode<\/em> in 2005, which led to his nomination as the second-best newcomer of the year. His breakthrough came with the release of <em>Man o Baroon<\/em> (Me and the Rain), which included a duet with Reza Sadeghi. This song was ranked 13th on Radio Javan\u2019s list of the top 100 songs in 2012. He continued his success with several albums, including <em>Madare Bi Gharari<\/em> (Orbit of Restlessness), <em>Zendegi Man<\/em> (My Life), and <em>Halam Khobe<\/em> (I\u2019m Feeling Good), solidifying his place as one of Iran\u2019s top pop singers.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond album releases, Jahanbakhsh has performed in major music festivals, including the Fajr Music Festival. He was also one of five singers to perform at the Resistance Music Festival in 2013. In 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, he organized an online concert, but around the same time, he suffered a heart attack and underwent open-heart surgery.
