Mehdi Darabi<\/strong>, an Iranian pop singer, was born on August 8, 1993, in Tehran, but his roots trace back to Kuhdasht, Lorestan. From a young age, he was interested in traditional Iranian music and gradually developed a passion for pop music. He began his professional career in 2011, releasing several singles, but they did not gain significant recognition.<\/p>\n

In 2016, Darabi formed the music group Hoorosh Band<\/em> in collaboration with the renowned music producer and arranger Masoud Jahani. Their first official track, Yad To Mioftam<\/em>, received positive feedback. Songs like Be Ki Poz Midi?<\/em> and Mah Delam<\/em> further increased their popularity. The band held its first concert on August 24, 2017, on Kish Island.<\/p>\n

In addition to singing, Darabi is active in songwriting and composing, collaborating with artists such as Mohammad Alizadeh, Shahab Ramazan, Arash & Masih. His music blends traditional Persian elements with R&B and hip-hop influences, resonating with a broad audience.<\/p>\n

In 2015, he faced a temporary ban due to the unauthorized broadcasting of his songs on Radio Javan<\/em>, but the issue was resolved after legal follow-ups. Additionally, in 2018, due to excessive vocal strain and practice, he suffered a vocal cord hemorrhage but recovered after a period of rest.<\/p>\n

The name Hoorosh<\/em> was initially pronounced as Hoorvash<\/em>, meaning shining like the sun<\/em>.
